After installing IE7 or if you start IE7 for the first time it goes to a runonce page for you to configure a few options in IE7. Sometimes it does not work or you would like to get rid of this.
If you download this registry fix it will prevent the runonce from coming up. (right-click and save as, save the file and then double click and allow to modify registry). If you want to manually go into the registry then you will have to add 2 keys. If your browser prevents you from downloading the .reg file then you can copy the following lines and save the text as a .reg file and run it from this.
